Edit a recipe in Recipe MinderEditing a recipe is much like adding a recipe in Recipe Minder. To review the add recipe help section, select this link.
From the main screen, select a recipe from the recipe list located in the left pane of Recipe Minder. Once a recipe is selected, press the 'Edit Recipe' button at the top of the screen. A new dialog will appear with the fields populated with the current recipes details.
With the exception of categories, menus, and image, editing a recipe is just like adding a recipe. The only fields that are required when editing a menu are Title, Description, and Ingredients. All other fields are optional.
Categories, Menus Edit
The currently selected category and menu is displayed on the left pane of the general tab of edit recipe dialog. To change the selected category or menu, simply choose another category or menu from the dropdown list. You do not need to select the original category or menu, it will be set to the old category of menu if no change is made.
Editing Images
To replace the current image, first select the checkbox labeled 'Replace Image', then enter an image name in the field. You can then select 'Replace Image' to open the file browse dialog. Once your new image is selected press ok, then the current image shown should be the image you just selected.
Once all your changes is in place, select the 'Submit' button on the Directions tab to save the changes to the recipe.
